New York Plastic Surgeon
Hello, welcome to my website. I am Dr. Donald Roland and I'd like to introduce you to my practice and my philosophy on cosmetic enhancement surgery. I have been in practice on the Upper East Side of Manhattan for over ten years and during this time I have been fine-tuning the process a patient experiences, from the initial consultation to the final result.
There is much to say about choosing a Plastic Surgeon with many years of experience. As a patient you are not only entrusting your looks, but more importantly, your life, in your surgeon's hands. That is a responsibility a doctor must take seriously. My specialty training in Reconstructive Microsurgery has afforded me the opportunity to tackle some of the most difficult problems presented to Plastic Surgeons. I gained this experience while working for the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation at the Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. I am very proud of the work I've done at Jacobi because it's improved the lives of the patients that I treated there, and has made me a better Plastic Surgeon by constantly challenging me to think outside of the box.
My philosophy on cosmetic surgery concerns the basic premise that all patients want to feel good about themselves and their looks. They want to feel as though their Surgeon understands their concerns and their fears. They don't want to be treated as a number or a diagnosis. In my office we practice the "Golden Rule," we treat each patient the way we would want to be treated if we, ourselves, were in a doctor's office.
