Dr. Roland is not only a skilled surgeon, but he is also a compassionate human being. Dr. Roland calmed all my fears before, during and after a surgical procedure. I had called him — after I sat stunned at my dermatologist’s office — having been told that I had on my face what sounded to me like the beginning of skin cancer. The dermatologist had told me he planned to make a nearly 3 inch long incision on my face along the hairline to my ear. Dr. Roland was able to perform the surgery in his office. The scar on my face is barely noticeable. Dr. Roland is committed to the care of his patients in New York as well as those who are less fortunate. Last year, Dr. Roland left his practice for weeks to help the people of Haiti after the earthquake. We were honored to have the opportunity to support his efforts with the children of Haiti.
