Breast Reduction (Reduction Mammoplasty)
 Large breasts can burden women with life-long medical problems caused by the excessive weight of their breasts. Problems with posture, back and neck pain, skin irritations and breathing problems are common results of this condition. Bra straps often leave grooves in the collar bone area. Many women, especially teenage girls, are very self-conscious if they have unusually large breasts.
Breast reduction (reduction mammoplasty) removes fat, breast tissue, and excessive skin, resulting in smaller, lighter, and firmer breasts. These new breasts are proportionate to the rest of the body. Many of the symptoms mentioned above are alleviated immediately post-operatively.

Breast Reconstruction
After a mastectomy a women has more reconstructive options with today's surgical advances. These reconstructions can be done at the same time as the mastectomy allowing the patient to awake with a reconstructed breast. Some patients elect to wait months or years before undergoing this type of surgery. In either instance using the newest medical techniques, Dr. Roland is able to create a breast similar in form and appearance to that of a natural breast. In most circumstances, surgery may be required in stages to later recreate the nipple areola complex on the reconstructed breast, and to perform balancing work on the opposite breast.

Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia)
Enlarged male breasts are a common condition which is frequently treated. Often, there is no known cause for gynecomastia, although some correlations have been made with various medical conditions.
The procedure removes fat and/or breast tissue from the chest, and in some cases, excess skin; this results in a contoured male chest that is flatter and firmer. This surgery may be one sided or both depending on your condition.
